then a cracking and breaking
new air and new light
extreme deceleration and pitch up
forced into your seat as the nose rises
whole weight of the plane
nose swings up
linger there for a brief second
slowing
then the worst thing happens
nose drops violently down
looking at the ground rushing up
hanging from the shoulder straps
helpless
in shock
at the mercy of who knows what
But you know this is part of the process
and all will be fine
and it has worked
and you will live
